Community Trophy Preview: Round 4 at the Red Bull Ring

Following on from the last time we saw drivers from the ADAC SimRacing Expo Community Trophy go into battle in Formula 4 machinery at Watkins Glen, we now head across to Continental Europe once again, as Styria and the Red Bull Ring will host the battleground for Round 4.

Located just an hour from Vienna airport, this 10-turn, 4.318-km circuit has hosted so much motorsport over decades past, including Formula 1, DTM and European Le Mans Series to name just a few.

But for our next round, GT1 machinery, as voted for via social media, will roar their way around this fast-paced track over the course of what are set to be two exciting races.

Cars including the Nissan GT-R, the Ford GT, the Gumpert Apollo Sport and Saleen S7R will be on show, so expect a lot of noisy horsepower to make its mark in Austria.

Ballas EsportsIlia Drovessekov leads the overall standings on 210 points, having not placed outside of the top six over the past six races, where we have had five different winners so far on what has been an ultra-competitive championship.

Kirill Antonov is a 35 points adrift in second, followed by Makozi Racing International’s Kodi Nikola Latkovski, who had two strong finishes last time out at Watkins Glen, where a total of six different drivers hit the virtual rostrum.

Along with that, don’t count out the pair of Dörr EsportsBence Bánki and Ballas’ Luciano Witvoet, who complete the top five covered by 59 points.

Join all the action as it happens this Thursday, September 1st at 19:55 CEST, and see who will win this full-throttle encounter in Spielberg.
