The biggest sim racing event and the one of the best competition platforms in the world join hands once more: Not long after the announcement of the move to Messe Dortmund from 2023 onwards, ADAC SimRacing Expo confirmed its first partner for this year’s event – Simracing.GP is on board to do great things together again!
After hosting the 2022 Professional Trophy in Assetto Corsa Competizione as well as the Logitech G Challenge at SRE22, SGP started off 2023 with the enormous announcement of cooperating with Jimmy Broadbent’s Team87. The YouTuber-turned-racing-driver had bought the Praga R1 that took him to championship glory in the Praga Cup UK to help aspiring talents to make the jump from the simulator to the real circuit in cooperation with the platform.
Simracing.GP has established itself as the premier sim racing platform for communities and events in Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione and RaceRoom. Hardware giant Logitech continues to cooperate with SGP for its G Challenge, which offers a prize of 10.000$ and a trip to the 2023 Austrian Grand Prix, including a meet and greet with McLaren F1 driver Lando Norris, a Logitech G Pro Sim Wheel, and McLaren apparel – and that is just to the overall winner. A further 15.000$ are split between positions 2 to 16.
SGP’s presence as part of Logitech’s booth at SRE22 certainly was a head-turner, featuring a live leaderboard and multiple simulators with the manufacturer’s latest hardware to try out. With their involvement ahead of last year’s Expo in mind, sim racers can already get excited for 2023 – stay tuned for what is to come leading up to October 13th to 15th at Messe Dortmund!
